Cycle tracks
The relatively flat terrain makes Dijon an attractive town for cyclists, and the cycling itineraries of the town centre make it easy to travel from place to place:
from Place Dupuis to the Porte d’Ouche
from Place de la République to Place Wilson
from Place Darcy to Place du 30 octobre
from Place de la République to Place Suquet
from Pont de l’Arquebuse to Place Wilson
Most of these itineraries can be recognised by a "bicycle" pictogram on the road surface.
Dijon is also the perfect point of departure for exploring the surrounding countryside on bike: the beautiful Burgundy Canal, the prestigious vineyards of the Côte de Nuits, etc.
If you don’t have your own bike, it’s easy to rent one for as long as you like. [ Learn more ]
Interurban transport
The TRANSCO bus service
TRANSCO has connections to numerous villages in the Côte-d’Or department.
A regular bus service covers the whole of the department (30 lines). Choose the formula which suits you best for travelling on the TRANSCO network. Each itinerary is broken down into different sections and the fare is calculated on the number of sections covered
