 Wine Tour : « Travel in the heart of « terroir » »
|
Discover the Cote de Nuits and the Cote de Beaune vineyards along the vintage wine road. Cellar visits and winetastings in famous villages like; ( Marsannay-la-Cote , Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Pommard, Meursault.. ).
Visit the Clos de Vougeot castle, Romanee Conti vineyards and two museums ( « Cassisium » and « L’Imaginarium » ) in Nuits -Saint-Georges. Sightsee Beaune with its reknowned « Hospices ».
This tour comes back through the Hautes Cotes de Nuits ( Hautes Cotes winetasting possible. See the ruins of the Saint -Vivant de Vergy abbey, as well as remarkable pottery and countryside.
This tour will teach you the different steps of winetasting using proper winetasting language. You will learn the different appellations and the main geological characteristics of Burgundy « terroir » and the history of wine.
Departure at 9.00 a.m in front of 'Parking Sales Office Tram Divia' or from your hotel. Plan about 9 hours for this tour.
All tours may be customized to suit you. Last minute changes to the tours are possible. Other premium cultural and gastronomic venues such as the Cote Challonaise, the Maconnais, Chablis and the region of Saulieu may be visited upon request. Sightseeing, restaurants and tastings not included in the tour package are extra. Tour prices include up to 4 people.
