 Wine Tour : Lands ‘capes : Truffle-based and homemade products
|
With this unique wine-tour, you get to enjoy all gifts of nature (orchids, wild fruits and especially truffles). Beware! Those who will keep their eyes open along the way won’t ever want to shut them back.
Discover the vineyards from Dijon to Nuits-Saint-Georges off the beaten tracks and on the “route des Grands Crus”. You will visit Chenôve, Marsannay, and Couchey. Let’s continue, Fixey comes with of one of the oldest bakery (middle ages) then Saint-Antoine Romanesque church on the right dating from the X th century (902 preciously).
We pass now Clos Napoleon and Clos de la Perrière on the left and go up the hill. Have a look to this view, one of the most beautiful sights seeing place arrive… If the weather permits, you will see the “Mont Blanc”.
Now let the vines aside to join the bores, dears and truffles area. Go up the hill, discover our “Bonzais” and understand the impact of the soil on the plants and so, the taste. Wines are not made in the wineries like it’s said, thrust in us! Don’t be scared, we are not lost, just in the middle of the forest.
Let me introduce to you Thierry Bezeux and his young dog (Elfe) for truffles hunting under special trees (depending of the weather). Then, welcome in the castle for a unique homemade and truffles-based products tasting: sausages, “pâtés”, or truffle ice cream with a glass of wine of course!

You would be the only one to visit their winery guided by a wine maker. Have a look to the vats, presses, and distamers. Come and understand why our wines are so different, and we will give you all our secrets! Magic time!
Back on the ground, open your mind and close your eyes for this white and red wines tasting! Taste gentle wooden marked Chardonnays, fine and elegant 2009 Pinots Noirs. Do not miss it, it happens only one time in your life!
Season permitting:
-Discover the wild orchids of Burgundy, from May 1st till July 31st
-Visit the Burgundy Dukes’wooden press (XIII th century), from July 1st till August 31st
-Discover blackcurrants, raspberries and strawberries fields, picking according to season.
During this tour you will have ; 1 wine tasting, barrels aging cellar and winery visit, 1truffles made products tasting, Clos de Vougeot castle visit, easy winemakers’ explanations for growing methods and wine making processes.
Departure at 9.30 am or 1.30 pm at 'Parking Sales Office Tram Divia' (Darcy square side) from your hotel on request. Plan 4 hours for this tour.
