 Guided Geological Stroll in the Vineyard
|
Unique in the Coast of wines, this walk commented by a geologist will make you discover the fascinating history of a region that the natural processings of the landscapes modelled successively in high mountain, open sea then in a country of high quality where the vineyard prospered for the biggest pleasure of the man.
The secrets of this gestation in the side of hillsides will be revealed to you. To conclude in beauty this stroll, the marbled of Marsannay, exclusiveness local pork butcher, will come to accompany by sublimating them, the aromas of our wines in three colors, during the tasting in the Store-room of Prieuré which will put an end to this very too short day.
You will go through vineyards on foot and discover with the geologist how the natural changes have shaped the soil. The vineyard cultivation will no longer be a secret for you!
Your visit ends with a wine tasting and you will be able to appreciate the different aromas of Burgundy red, white and rosé wines. You will receive a decorated wine glass as a gift.
The duration 2:30 hrs comprises a 1:45 hr walk in the vineyard and a tasting of 45 min.
The visit is available from 1 July to 15 September on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Please present your voucher at least 10 mins before the departure at the Tourist Office in Marsannay-La-Côte.
