Schedule :
- A trip through the Champs Elysées of Burgundy along the Route des Grands Crus. Travelling from Dijon we will explore the vineyards of Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and drive through all those charming villages.
- Visit a family wine cellar in Côte de Beaune, extensive wine tasting of the wine from this domaine. Thorough practical, introduction to the art of wine tasting
- Free time in Beaune, historic walled city and wine Capital of Burgundy. For Lunch (not included) your guide will suggest you numerous restaurants and bistros, offering regional dishes and cheeses. Enjoy the market on Wednesday and Saturday morning. Visit the city after Lunch (at own cost):
Second wine cellar for a wine tasting of 10 up to 14 different wines
Les Hospices de Beaune, a 15th century hospital and a masterpiece of Burgundian gothic art
The old city and its many shops selling local specialities (mustard, cassis and Anis de Flavigny)
- Walk in the vineyards to discover the cultivation methods and the vine civilization in Burgundy.
Visit a wine cellar in the prestigious Côte de Nuits for a comparative wine tasting and comprehensive explanation of the Burgundy wine classifications
Departure at 9.45am from “Maison du Tram”, 26 Place Darcy in Dijon or from your hotel on demand. Plan 7 hours 30 for this tour.
