Parc de la Combe à la Serpent

Situated at the gates of Dijon, the park contains some typically Burgundian landscapes: dry limestone hillsides, cool valley beds, forests of broad-leaved trees, cadoles (old drystone constructions similar to the bories found in southern France).
Layout: 326 hectares, 5 km of bridle paths, 10 km of footpaths, 13 km of metalled paths lined with wooden benches.
Vegetation : 28 hectares of long and short-grass prairie.
Features: 3 football pitches, 3 areas for playing boules, fitness trail, playgrounds, picnic areas, deer park, numerous wild animals inhabiting this huge park, numerous signosts and information panels in carved wood, shelters from the rain, toilet and telephone kiosks, beehive.
