 Musée de Nuits-Saint-Georges

Installed on the premises of a former wine merchant’s house, the Nuits Saint Georges Museum invites you to discover local history through magnificent Gallo-Roman collections from the excavations at Les Bolards and various other sites in the district. The museum also covers everyday life, religious beliefs, and funeral rites of the inhabitants.
The Merovingian room is devoted to the reconstitution of tombs and to collections of weapons and jewels
The temporary exhibitions are housed on the first floor and are renewed each year, concentrating on a particular aspect of the local heritage.
